Tia Smith

Hi, my name is Tia. I studied Law with Business at university and I am currently working as a paralegal in the Contracts and Procurement team at Brighton and Hove City Council. My role involves supporting the drafting and review of commercial agreements and helping different service departments manage their contracts. In December I will begin my Solicitor Apprenticeship, which I am really excited about as it will allow me to qualify through a practical and hands on route.😆

I am new to SJLD and I will be starting my role as Social Media and Marketing Officer. I am really looking forward to getting started and bringing fresh ideas, creative content and lots of enthusiasm to the committee.

I love to travel and try to visit new countries every year. I always bring home a small keepsake from each place I visit and my favourite so far is local lava salt from Iceland.✨
