Lucy Bowra

I graduated from the University of Brighton in May 2026 with a First-Class LLB (Hons) Law degree. My academic interests are family law and property law, and I hope to qualify as a solicitor in one of these areas in the future. During university, I was actively involved in promoting careers in the legal profession through several ambassador roles. This included serving as a Solicitor Ambassador for the University of Brighton Law Society and representing AllAboutLaw, Legal Cheek, and the Commercial Law Academy as a Campus Ambassador. I was also recently elected President of the Young Professionals Society, where I help organise networking and career development opportunities for students and graduates. Outside of law, I’m a big fan of ska music and love going to concerts with my dad, who’s my best friend! I also enjoy meeting new people through networking events and am excited to support graduates within the legal community through the Sussex Junior Lawyers Division.
