Communications and Marketing Officer

I am excited to apply for the Communications and Marketing Officer position for the 2025/26 committee. Currently, I work as a Paralegal in the Contracts and Procurement Team at Brighton & Hove City Council, supporting with complex contractual matters and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations. In December, I will begin my Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship, reflecting my commitment to professional development.

Outside of work, I have a strong interest in social media and enjoy exploring new trends and creative ways to engage audiences. I believe this passion can help strengthen SJLD’s presence by introducing fresh ideas such as interactive content, spotlight features on members, and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram for professional networking and event promotion. I am keen to explore analytics driven strategies to boost engagement and ensure our messaging reaches a wider audience.

My experience in managing collaborative projects and coordinating tasks has equipped me with excellent organisational and communication skills. I look forward to combining these with my enthusiasm for digital engagement to help SJLD grow its visibility and connect meaningfully with members.
